Maybe. But a season ago many of you thought you were 1.5 to 2 years ahead of the Leafs in your respective rebuilds. I thought it was fairly ridiculous then, and clearly I wasn't right. The Leafs look like they will be a bubble team for another season, but really are only a defender and maybe a tough veteran forward away from being the real deal. The Sabres need so much more than the players in the minors amen Jr can provide, so good luck catching up with them. |

Carrier should be in the bottom 6 full time next season. Earlier this week, someone posted we need more Hagelin-type players in depth roles and I think 48 could develop into that.
On a side note, glad this crap show of a season is coming to an end. I am beyond embarrassed and enraged that the Leafs are in the postseason and look light years ahead of us at this time. Been watching this team for 20+ years now and that last home game against the Leafs was the low point for me as a Sabres fan. |
